About

"Flashback. You'll have to keep reminding yourself it's only a game. Not a movie."

2142 AD. - Stranded on a bizarre alien planet with your memory artificially erased, you must battle your way back to Earth to stop the invading mutant forces.

Flashback was released on IBM PC, Amiga, Apple Macintosh, Acorn Archimedes, CD-i, SNES, 3DO, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Atari Jaguar, and now for Playstation 2.

Thanks to the work of Gregory Montoir (cyx) who single-handedly rewrote the engine that is running Delphine's remarkable adventure, Flashback is now making its appearance on the Playstation 2. Game sources (along with modifications) for PS2 are available under GNU Public License.

This is a hybrid release, it's a mix of several versions. The PC undoubtly had the best graphics, and vectorized animation sequences. Amiga amazed us all with its 4 channels audio and great sound effects. The cover art is a photo manipulation of the European DOS release.

Delphine is, unfortunately, long gone. Flashback is now considered abandonware, which makes this release possible.
