Welcome to Gawd’s Museum of Dissected Games.
As a developer, I have always felt sorry for games: from the moment they are published and released to the public, they begin to decay. People care less and less about them, and eventually they are considered abandoned by the companies who worked very hard to produce them.
For years now, I’ve been reading Gamasutra’s Post Mortem column and after I finished reading The Ender Saga, I decided to take upon myself the job of Speaker For The Dead. I will speak the death of abandoned games, how they lived and how they were made; the post-mortem that was never written.
Everything that you see here was done in my spare hours, as a hobby (yeah, I know..) Please show your appreciation by dropping a comment. Happy reading!

You have performed a wonderful postmorterm of part of the technical details of a classic game. Your article was well put together, and contained very few errors of any kind that I could see. If only there were more developers like you posting this sort of information.
Thanks!
Just wanted to let you know that I’m looking forward to the Ugh! dissection - that was one of the first computer games I played
This is eaxactly what I was talking about on my blog. I appreciate the work you put into this and I look forward to reading more.
This is a fantastic site that I hope to see grow!
