Time Displacement Release v1.0

Hey little green men.

As promised, I’m releasing my real-time Time Displacement swf with sources. You can play with it online right now: just click on Allow and make sure you unpacked your webcam and connected it to your box. It requires Flash 9, if you don’t have it, then that sucks (get flash9 here). Flash 8 was too crappy for me to downgrade my code to :)

Enjoy!

The .fla (source code) is released under the GNU Public License V3. Download: Time Displacement (sources). If you have any updates or improvements, please share them back with the world; and if you make something neat out of it (ie, make it to digg frontpage, or a facebook app) then you rock! \m/, please drop me a line!

Cheers!

Time Displacement Experiment

Here’s a quick hack. A while ago I saw this awesome video, and it has been sitting in the back of my mind for a while. Today I recalled this cool video, and decided that I’ll try to do something myself, using webcam in realtime. I wrote it in half an hour (this is my second actionscript code), and it’s only 50 lines of code! It’s quite buggy, sinusoidals never really liked me. When I get to fix it, I’ll post the full sources for others to benefit.

Cheers! :)
