Another World demade!

An excellent post at Pixelation called pixelartists worldwide to collaborate in a heroic task of demading their favorite games. Follow up the original post for the full list, but here are my favorites:

    Gil,
I have been trying to track you down for sometime. Information on you is vague, google has few hits about your out of this world ports. I am a huge fan (as you appear to be) and recently wrote an article on Another World. I’ve always been interested in the homebrew scene and have been attempting to locate your GBA 3d0 port but have been unable to find the “Emulator.”

I figured that posting here is a longshot but I would love a reply. Thank you for all of your insight, I pulled from some of the various information you typed around the net to write my *short* article.

I’ve only had a very short stint at Another World on Amiga. Can’t say that the slow-paced gameplay really tickles my fancy, but this 8-Bit Demake looks gorgeous. If you’re really into that stuff, check out tigsource.com. They hosted a compo last year, with some amazing tech demos as result. My personal favorite was the Homeworld demake, sweet 16-Bit graphics, nice ambient music, insane level of polish. I wish the creators would develop it further. Come to think of it, maybe I should try my hand at some old school game design…
