There’s an itch I must scratch. Well, there are several of them. It’s not easy being me, trust me. I come up with ideas on a daily basis, and can never find the time to implement. I’m already over my neck with stuff to do and falling behind, and yet, every day I see a new opportunity to do something that has never been done before.
We always say that an artist never blames the tools. I’ve been trying different ways of organizing my thoughts and to-do lists. I’ve tried spreadsheets with due dates, I’ve tried sticky notes, online to-do lists, heck, even, hung a drawing board on my wall with priorities. Nothing works; and I’m always looking for answer: why can’t I get my stuff done? Can’t be because I have too much to do.
A friend of mine once tried to quit using his computer. He emailed everybody that he’s putting an end to it, and everybody emailed him “best of luck, don’t forget us”-kind of emails. The next day he emailed that he’s still alive, and on the third day he was online on msn
that’s how it works.
I have this nasty habit of checking my statistics every minute. I haven’t even merged them into one-click views. I need to telnet my machines, check my google stats, check my webalizer, feedburner and whatnot. And I do it all the time.
I wonder what I’m doing wrong…
On a side note, I have finally released a new effect for dumpr. It’s a Rubik’s Cube Generator. Check out the image below! What do you think of that?
